Our commitment to cycling in Doylestown goes beyond race day. Every summer with the help of organizations like Doylestown Bike Works, Larry Ox Cycling, Central Bucks Bicycle Club, Bucks Composite Mountain Bike Team and Women Bike Dtown we host events designed to inspire the community to ride and teach the skills needed to do so.
Join us for three wheelie great weeks of cycling for kids presented by Marshall Financial Group. Each month we'll partner with different local cycling organizations to inspire the next generation to get out and ride. Bike Works, Central Bucks Bicycling Club and Team Ox will get your kids off of their training wheels and onto two wheels at our Learn to Ride in June. In July Bucks County Composite Mountain Bike Team and Women Bike Dtown help kids explore the Pump Track and trails and sharpen those bike handling skills during our Bike Rodeo. Racers and race crew share their love of racing in August at Race Night when kids will get to try their hand at criterium racing. Attendance is free but limited for these events and preregistration is required.
BYO Bike on race day and ride the course. Maybe you've always wondered what that second turn feels like, maybe you want to ride a few laps with a friend or family member who's racing or maybe you just like to put on a costume and strut your stuff. Whatever the case you're welcome to come ride the race at a party pace.
Kids age 3-10 whether on a strider bike or 10 speed get to take to the course race day and sprint to the finish just like the pros thanks to the support of Jarrett Vaughan Builders. Participation is limited so pre registration is recommended. All participants receive a medal after crossing the finish line and a cycling cap.
