In 2015, amateur men got their first chance to race on the famed Criterium of Doylestown race course. The inaugral winner, Jacob Skrip of Breinigsville, PA, covered the 28-mile race in a time of 1:05:41, showing a clean set of heels to the second and third place finishers.
The amateur race returns for 2017, giving America's up and coming cycling stars an opportunity to compete on the same course as the pros and in a true pro race setting with the crowds to match. The men's amateur race is open to USA Cycling Category 2 and 3 men.
